7-Day Live Arrival Guarantee

We understand the fragility of these marine creatures, and despite our utmost care to ensure their health during transit, we realize that challenges may occur during their journey across the U.S. That’s why we provide a 7-day guarantee – offering you peace of mind that you’re covered in the unfortunate event of a loss.

We guarantee all our livestock will arrive alive and maintain their vitality for at least seven days. In the unlikely event of a loss, we will issue a store credit for the item purchased, keeping our commitment to both you and our marine life. Here are the terms and conditions for our 7-day Live Arrival Guarantee:

  • We will provide store credit equivalent to the price of your purchased item. Please note, we do not issue credit card refunds.
  • To be eligible for this credit, your item must be dead. Corals exhibiting some color loss due to shipping stress are not considered dead. Maintain pristine conditions for your corals, and we’re confident they’ll quickly regain their vibrancy.
  • Report any losses to us within 24 hours via email at norcalcorals@yahoo.com, including a photograph of the deceased animal. In case you’re unable to capture a picture, we may request you to ship the dead coral back to us. Please retain the specimen until we’ve issued your credit.

Your email should include:

  1. The order’s name
  2. The name of the deceased animal
  3. A clear photograph of the dead animal, unpacked for verification
  4. The address where the order was delivered
  5. Your contact phone number and email address

The livestock guarantee is valid only if the delivery is signed for at the first attempt. For detailed information about shipping and delivery, kindly refer to our Shipping page.

Do not refuse a shipment under any circumstances. To avail of our guarantee, you must accept the delivery on the first attempt, regardless of any potential issues such as lateness or visible damage.

Tank Health and Acclimation

To be covered under our guarantee, ensure that your tank is fully cycled, and all livestock is properly acclimated. You can find the recommended acclimation procedures on our site, or feel free to reach out to us for any questions.

Order Accuracy

Our real-time site updates should prevent double orders. However, in cases where the corals’ condition may have changed since their photograph was taken, we’ll reach out to you with an updated photo. We’re committed to your satisfaction and will ensure the item you see is the one we send you.

Authentic Coral Photos

All photos of our corals and other livestock are captured under high-quality Rapid Led onyx LEDs and accurately represent the corals’ condition in our tanks. We don’t enhance our images – our corals’ beauty speaks for itself.

Note: Different lights can affect the appearance of corals. The corals may look different under your lighting setup, and coloration may also vary based on shipping stress, water quality, and other tank parameters beyond our control. But rest assured, with a clean and stable tank, most corals will maintain or regain their color.
